WHAT is the assignment? 

Understand the perspective of all the stakeholders in your school career---by listing out the expectations for one of the groups.   What are the expectations each person’s role/viewpoint has to successfully accomplish the key goals you want to set at NCSSM?  In thinking about your expectations, reflect on why you cannot accomplish these goals at your local school and what will make NCSSM and your peers at NCSSM so different that you can attain these goals.   So think broadly of what success looks like for you.

HOW Should I Complete It? 

You will be assigned one or two of five roles (A through E)  in the context of academics at NCSSM.   You will INDIVIDUALLY RESPOND to the assignment.  Your role will be assigned by your instructor as an announcement posted to Canvas after the course begins.

1. Your family/parents/guardians/friends expectations of you (whoever is your support network).
2. The instructor's and NCSSM expectations of the student (you!)
3. Expectations your peers have for you to academically grow at NCSSM.
4. Your expectations of your peers at NCSSM
5. Your expectations of your instructors.

Please write at least four expectations per assigned role. 

HOW do I submit this assignment?  

1. Know the assigned role you are to complete (assigned in class as A, B, C, D, or E, see above)
2. Open your Scholar Development Portfolio in Google Drive.
   
3. Create a new Google Doc called "Expectations: Circle of Success".
   
4. List at least four expectations for your assigned role (A, B, C, D, or E) as complete sentences in your e-Portfolio as instructed above.
5. Submit the Google Docs URL.

HOW Am I Graded?  

The instructor will grade your response as complete or incomplete.  Failure to fully and completely follow the directions will results in an 'incomplete'
